Short Work Weeks ROCK!

So I have just finished the 3rd book of the Twilight saga! By far my favorite so far!!

I have not been able to find the time to go and see the movie yet, however, I have been getting alot of mixed reviews.. umm. I will still try to go see it or maybe I will wait til its on DVD.

With 3 kids its really hard to even go into another room without one of them! LOL.

This week is a short work week! Thank god the firm decided to close for Black Friday! Not because I plan on going out into that mess that they call shopping because I REALLY need a day off! I dream about work, thats how bad I need a day off!!

Besides work, life is ok.. Christmas is coming WAY too fast and I just don't know where the days are going anymore.

Oh, about work again! The stomach bug is going through our office and I am so paranoid about it! Its not easy having a whole house full of puking kids and being sick along with them, it takes me that much more time to recover! So I am hoping it passes and doesn't touch us at all! I was a FREAK at work today with the Lysol wipes and hand sanitizers! lol.. I refused to touch even a door handle without sanitizing it first! And then when I got home, I wouldn't let any kid touch me until I washed my hands and changed. They all looked at me like I was crazy! It was GREAT! lol.

I never made it to Petco on Saturday. I got really wrapped up cleaning and organizing before the holidays and TOTALLY forgot! Just like me to forget a great thing! Oh well. They are there every Saturday so hopefully I will get there soon!

Well, I don't know what else has happened besides daily life and since my cell phone is going crazy I should probably go for now!

Bonejour, LLC

So I am really excited about Saturday.. I am co-owner of a business started March of 2007 called Bonejour, LLC. My best friend Laura is my partner and we recently got a great opportunity to advertise with a local shelter in the area..

Our business is based on taking care of your animal when you are not home, working or on vacation. We walk your dog, give food and water and keep your house looking "lived in" (switching lights and blinds if you are away for a long period of time). We work with all animals that you might have, except we will not feed live animals to any other animal.. (mouse to snake)..

We have great clients now but we eventually would like to make our business our full time job and this may be the push to get us there. This shelter will NOT adopt any animal to a full time working home, UNLESS you have a pet sitter! And they have given us an opportunity to get our name out there.

This is something that me and Laura need/want.. We both work for Law Firms and its stressful at times.. We would love to be home with our kids and work on our time. We recently brought on two friends, Stephanie and Kristen and I would love to see them excel through our business!

Twilight...

So I said that I would hopefully be reading the book Twilight soon... And I read it.. it only took me 2 days because I could not put it down! Everyone is right, totally not what I expected, absolutely better than any other book I have read! By far the best!! (And I read a lot of books a year!)

If you have not heard or read the book Twilight, go buy it right now and read it!

The movie comes out on 11/21/2008 and I can't wait to go see it!

There are 4 books total - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn..

I am going to start New Moon this weekend and if its half as interesting as Twilight, then I will probably be raving about it by Monday!

Now go get the book! And if you have already read it, tell me what you thought, but don't give too much information, I would hate to ruin it for anyone..

All I am saying about it is... I love Bella and Edward...

Randomness.

This weekend was Dylan's 7th birthday. We celebrated for him with a small group of friends and family and then cake.. He got an MP3 player from me and Rick, clothes from Aunt LaLa and Uncle Stu, and some other games and stuff..

The weekend was good for the most part..

Well, I have bad news.. In my blog called "Too Long" I mentioned some thing was going happening, but I could not say anything yet.. Well that thing is not gong to happen anymore.. It was that I was going to be an Aunt for the first time, sadly though, my sister found out that the baby did not have a heart beat. She was only about 5-6 weeks along and there is a reason for everything.. The baby is with god now and I am sure that is where it should be. I just don't know if Lacey knows that's where the baby should be.. She is a total mess, but I can't blame her. I would be too.

Well, I am crushed still, its only been a few hours since I found out, I actually found out at work so I haven't yet let me feeling go.. Of course telling our boss (my sister and I work for the same attorney) was hard.. He made me cry.. He cares so much it was hard not to get emotional...

Its about lunch time and I really need to get out of this office.

Too Long!

To be honest, I forgot I had this blog! Thank goodness for my friend Jamie who also came across her lost blog, cause without finding hers, I wouldn't have found mine! So thanks Jamie!

Not a lot has happened in the year that I haven't blogged..

Here's the list:

~I started a new job, I now work for a law firm. I am a legal assistant..

~We got a new dog, her name is Bella and she is a 4lb chihuahua..

~My kids are now 7, 3 & 2!! Well almost 7 (11/8) and almost 2 (12/7)..

~Went to Arkansas to visit family and friends in August, it was a well needed vacation and I didn't realize how much I really missed that place until we went back..

I guess that's the gist of it..

We plan on moving back to Arkansas, however, some things came up here that is going to delay our move for a little while.. I can't say what those "things" are just yet.. But I will tell you as soon.. :)

So everyone has been RAVING about the Twilight books, so I am going to start reading those soon.. Hopefully I won't be disappointed.

Also really excited cause my friend Heidi in coming to NJ next week for a visit, its been too long since I have seen her..
